AARNet is proud to be a QUESTnet 2016 conference partner and will be providing a high speed connection to the venue, as well as hosting a range of talks and workshops during the conference, on at the Gold Coast’s RACV Royal Pines Resort, from 5 to 8 July. The theme for this year’s conference is “Technology supporting Education”.

The program for QUESTnet2016 has been announced and there’s an inspiring lineup of speakers, including Massimo Lamanna of CERN talking about data services for science, Lindsay Botten, Director of the National Computational Infrastructure (NCI) talking about opportunities and challenges for high performance computing for research and education, Geoff Huston of the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) talking about the Internet in 2016, and Phillip Grasso of Google, among others.
Latest network technologies and solutions are the focus of a series of workshops and talks to be presented by AARNet staff and you will also be able to find out more at our stand in the exhibition area. We’ve also teamed up with other eResearch capabilities to showcase how we all work together as an ecosystem to support Australian research. Come along to the eResearch Capabilities stand to find out more about what we offer to help researchers: AAF (Identity), AARNet (Network), ANDS (Making Data More Valuable), NeCTAR (Cloud and Virtual Labs) and RDS ( Data Services and Storage).
